Construction of the first elementary school complex at the Hauts de Gadie site, which began in late 2025, continues. An update on October 19, 2026, indicates that the ground floor walls are now visible for both the main building, which will house classrooms, and the communal building, which will include the library and multi-purpose room. The next phase involves raising the walls of the dining facility, which will contain the central kitchen and refectory.
A previous update on August 13, 2026, noted that the foundations were beginning to emerge from the ground, marking a significant step. On July 8, 2026, after the completion of building platforms and foundation piles, the installation of tie beams, concrete elements forming the foundations, was underway. A crane was also being installed at that time.
In March 2026, the parking lot for the future school complex was put into service. This area includes approximately one hundred parking spaces, two of which are reserved for people with reduced mobility (PRM), a dedicated bus dock, and bicycle parking.
