Starting November 1, 2026, residents of Le Beausset must deposit all household packaging (plastics, cardboard, metal, and paper) in the yellow-lidded sorting bin, following the commissioning of the new SITTOMAT sorting center in La Farlède.

Waste sorting is becoming simpler in Le Beausset. From November 1, 2026, all household packaging for plastic, cardboard, metal, and paper must be placed in the single YELLOW-lidded sorting bin. The grey bin will no longer be used and will be collected by the SUD SAINTE BAUME agglomeration services for recycling or reuse.
This change is made possible by the commissioning of the new SITTOMAT sorting center in La Farlède. This modern and efficient facility will handle all household packaging from the Sittomat territory according to national sorting guidelines.
For residents in individual housing, collection schedules and days will not change. For those in collective housing, the grey-lidded bins in the waste areas will be progressively replaced by yellow-lidded bins. Sorting columns with grey openings will be transformed into yellow-opening columns for those without bins. Glass packaging will continue to be deposited in the green-opening columns as usual.
Sorting is thus becoming easier for everyone. Adopt this new guideline now and become an agent of change!
